The planing test is an open book exam, where you are evaluated on understanding rather than recall and memorization. You will be expected to analyze the elements and relationships of a given virtual infrastructure environment then evaluate it using your material as evidence and provide recommendations to change the existing setup..
The installing, configuring and managing test consists of you logging into our datacenter (VMWare Practice Lab) and actually setting up virtual environment based on predefined user requirements. You will be expected to analyze the elements of our practice lab virtual environment and then build the virtual infrastructure components to satisfy the user requirement.
